The purpose of this meeting is to consider draft legislation and receive updates from state agencies and stakeholders. Among other topics, the Blockchain Task Force will consider draft bills regarding digital assets, private cryptographic keys, digital speech protection and immunity, money transmission, and special purpose depository institutions. The Task Force will receive testimony regarding the digital tokenization of assets, the Uniform Law Commission’s work on digital technology, and digital identity technologies. The meeting will be held on the University of Wyoming campus, in conjunction with the Wyoming Blockchain Stampede.
